Thinking of trying 38Degrees for a new windbreaker. How does it compare to something from Adidas or Nike for actual running?

For tropical climates, 38Degrees is probably better designed for sweat and heat than a general Adidas or Nike product, which might be overkill for warmth. Their fabric is usually really good at wicking.

I've found 38Degrees stuff to be on par with, or even better than, the big brands for specific running gear, especially when it comes to breathability and lightness for hot weather. The fit is usually more 'performance' too.

It's coming from Thailand so expect it to take a little while. I ordered some stuff for my friend in New York once and it was probably like 2-3 weeks, if I remember right. Not super quick but it got there.

I found their stuff to be pretty true to size, maybe a tiny bit snug if you're between sizes. Check their size chart though, it's usually pretty good.
